What is Sunset Sherbet Strain?

Sunset Sherbet strain is an Indica dominant cannabis hybrid. It spells ‘Sherbet’ but pronounced ‘sherbert.’ It may not be as famous as its parents, but its flavor and effects are as good as its parents. The Indica and Sativa ratio of this cannabis strain is 85% Indica, and 15% Sativa and THC content can reach between 18% and 23%. The effects of this potent strain last for hours. Background and Lineage

Sunset Sherbet was bred by cannabis tastemaker Mr. Sherbinski, who is also the curator of world-famous genetics: Pink Panties, Sunset Sherbert, and the Gelato line — Bacio, Mochi, Acaiberry, and Gello. The strain was accidentally produced when Mr. Sherbinski introduced Pink Panties into a room of Girl Scout Cookies in his grandmother’s basement.

It is a cross between Girl Scout Cookies and Pink Panties. Sunset Sherbet and its parents are almost oddly too similar. It got all its taste and effects from its parents. It’s parent Girl Scout Cookies shares the genetics from the famous strains OG Kush, Cherry Pie, and Durban Poison. The other parent Pink Panties, is a cross of a Burmese landrace and Florida kush that gives it the fruity flavor and sedative traits.
